Susan Pascoe AM

Adjunct Professor University of WA

Susan Pascoe AM is Adjunct Professor at the University of WA.  She Chairs the Australian Council for International Development, the Community Director’s Council, and the Advisory Board of Catholic Emergency Relief Australia.  She is a Trustee of St John of God Health, a Mercy Health Board Member, and a member of the AICD’s NFP Chair’s group.  She is Principal of consulting firm Kadisha Enterprises.    

Adj Prof Pascoe was the inaugural Commissioner for the ACNC. Prior to this appointment, she was Victorian State Services Authority Commissioner. She was as one of three Commissioners for the 2009 Royal Commission into Black Saturday Bushfires.   Her earlier career was in education where she served as Director of Catholic Education in the Archdiocese of Melbourne, and CEO and Chair of the Catholic Education Commission of Victoria.

Adj Prof Pascoe is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Institute of Public Administration of Australia and the Australian College of Educators. 

Virginia Bourke
Chair Mercy Health Boards

Virginia is the Chair of Mercy Health, a national not-for-profit health and aged care provider employing more than 10,000 people. She is Chair of St John Ambulance Victoria and a director of its national body, St John Ambulance Australia.  She is also a Director of the Mater Group, Catholic Health Australia and a member of the National Council of Caritas Australia.

Virginia is a lawyer and consultant in private practice with a breadth of corporate governance and commercial experience.  She is currently a consultant to the national health industry group at MinterEllison Lawyers and was formerly General Counsel for the Institute of Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea.

She has served as a director of several not for profit organisations and is a member of the Advisory Board of the PM Glynn Institute at Australian Catholic University.
